Why is play based learning important?

 

It develops children's content knowledge and provides children the opportunity to develop social skills, competencies and disposition to learn. We use approaches that involve both child initiated and teacher supported learning.

During play, children use all their senses, communicate their emotions, explore their environment, and connect what they already know with new knowledge. We can guide your child towards mathematics, science, and literacy concepts through hands on experiences. We can explore concepts such as problem solving, predictions and hypothesizing.
